This post-rocker quartet emerged as the four film students assembled to score their projects. The innocent aside soon became a finely honed craft that they increasingly poured their engergies into. Fusing their penchant for atmosphere, Kieslowski and recurring themes, Sanguinary Coast’s efforts resulted in the magnificent double ablum, Among Thorns (2006). Based on a film they wrote about a girl who witnesses a friend’s suicide, Part I begins portentiously with a brooding tension, while Part II comes to a reflective conclusion. Although they have yet to produce the film, the album serves as the score.
